A report from the “Health Protection Agency” informs us that 65 million cell phones are used by people in the UK and has gained enormous amount of popularity with the passage of a short amount of time.
Useful and eco-friendly components like silver are required to construct mobile phone along with the presence of harmful elements like cadmium. Silver can be recycled and used because it can be subjected to extraction.
Previously no method of recycling was available for disposing old mobiles and they were dumped in landfill sites. Presently various options are available to reuse a mobile phone. The company adapts them with a special technique of reconstructing various parts of a used cell phone.
The process involves extraction of metals from batteries, differentiating plastics from various components used in the mobile and reforming the plastic found on the outside of a telephone system.
The heat produced in the process of incineration helps to separate all the plastic components. Parts of a mobile phones like aerials, microphones, LCD screens, battery connectors, circuits and several other parts are reframed to create a new phone.
One way to keep the planet waste-free is to provide batteries and chargers during the recycling process of a phone. Lots of padding must be done to avoid damage to the mobile during shipping.
